Job summary

Island Country Club Inc. seeks a Head Golf Professional to lead all daily Golf Operations, collaborate with the Director of Golf, and elevate the member and guest experience.

The role oversees the Golf Shop, staff, tournaments, handicap administration, tee-sheet management, and player development, providing visible leadership and ongoing staff development. The ideal candidate will have PGA Class A, at least five years of progressive golf professional experience, and a track record in private

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Sports Management, or PGA-related field.
• PGA Class A Member in good standing required.
• Minimum of five years of progressive experience as a golf professional.
• Experience in tournament operations and staff management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily Golf Operations to ensure a first-class member and guest experience.
• Supervise and train Golf Shop staff, Outside Operations, and Locker Room staff.
• Coordinate major Club events and tournaments, including club championships and MGA/WGA events.
• Oversee handicap program administration and golf rules compliance.
• Maintain golf software and records (Golf Genius, ForeTees, GHIN).
• Collaborate with Director of Golf on programming and staff development.
