Job summary

Catalyst North Group in Memphis, TN is seeking a Head Chef to lead our culinary team. This full-time role offers a negotiable salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will oversee daily operations, develop menus, ensure food quality and safety, mentor staff, and manage inventory and suppliers in a fast-paced, creative kitchen. A degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience is required, with at least 5 years in a head chef role.

Qualifications

• A degree in Culinary Arts or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a weekly menu that aligns with the company's standards and customer preferences.
• Supervise a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation.
• Source, purchase, and manage inventory to maintain cost-effective and high-quality food offerings.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Participate in staff training and development to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborate with the management team to innovate and improve our culinary offerings.
