Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to lead and support front-end staff in providing fast, friendly, and accurate service. You will process Checkout and Return transactions, monitor Self-Checkout areas, and help identify selling opportunities while upholding store policies.

As Head Cashier, you will supervise, coach, and train Cashiers, expediting price checks and handling POS transactions across mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.

Qualifications

• Experience as cashier or head cashier preferred.
• Ability to provide customer service and assist in supervising front-end staff.

Responsibilities

• Cashiers provide fast, friendly, accurate service and process transactions.
• Monitor and maintain Self-Checkout area and assist customers with price checks.
• Assist in coaching and training of other Front End Associates.
• Escalate customer issues as needed and help minimize shrink.
