Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to lead front-end operations and deliver fast, friendly service in a high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of cashier experience and can assist in supervising and training other cashiers and front-end staff. Responsibilities include overseeing checkout lanes, self-checkout, returns, and related duties to ensure efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• Head Cashier preferred with 1+ years of cashier experience.
• Experience assisting in supervision and training of Front End Associates is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe checkout service.
• Process Checkout and/or Return transactions and monitor Self-Checkout area.
• Escalate customer issues and coach/train new Cashiers.
• Assist in expediting price checks, approving POS transactions and markdowns for registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk and Tool Rental.
