Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to lead front-end operations with a focus on fast, friendly and accurate service. This role oversees cashiers, assists with price checks, and ensures POS transactions and returns are processed smoothly across mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Pro Desk and Tool Rental.

You will coach and train new cashiers, monitor area operations, and help minimize shrink by enforcing policies.

Qualifications

• Head Cashier preferred with 1+ years of cashier experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe service at checkout and returns.
• Process Checkout and/or Return transactions; monitor and maintain Self-Checkout area.
• Explain products and opportunities to customers by proactively seeking product knowledge.
