Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to lead cashiers and ensure fast, friendly, accurate, and safe checkout and returns processing across mainline registers and Self-Checkout areas.

You will help monitor the Self-Checkout, assist in price checks, approve POS transactions and markdowns, and escalate customer issues. You’ll also participate in coaching and training of Front End Associates to maintain service standards. A minimum of 1+ years of cashier experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of cashier experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process Checkout and/or Return transactions.
• Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area.
• Provide first level escalation for customer issues.
• Assist in supervision, coaching and training of Front End Associates.
