Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is seeking an HDD Foreman II to lead field crews on directional drilling projects across utility infrastructure. Under the Department Superintendent, you will ensure a safe working environment, quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and compliance with governmental agencies.

You will assist with locating drill heads, verifying locate marks, and coordinating with install foremen and drill operators.

Qualifications

2-3 years demonstrated Horizontal Directional Drilling locating experience.
3-5 years' experience in a utility construction role is required.
Possession of a valid CDL Class A license (CDL-A) with required endorsements.
Candidates must pass MVR, a DOT physical, and a pre-employment drug screen.
English usage sufficient to keep records and report.
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide daily leadership over crews to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with regulations.
Confirm bore path with install foreman and drill operator (including walking the bore path).
Perform job site analysis (JSA) and complete paperwork.
Ensure proper clearances to install products per standards.
Record tool depth every 10 feet or as needed.
Oversee laborers and crew time usage.
Conduct post-job quality checks and equipment inspections.
Communicate daily with Supervisor and file required reports.
