Job summary

The University of Washington is seeking a HCM Service Partner – Academic Specialist to provide expert guidance on Workday HCM for academic populations and staff.

You will train campus units, manage escalations, and coordinate with APF and UW-IT on process improvements while ensuring data integrity and timely responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, payroll, or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience, incl 3+ years in HR, benefits, or payroll.
• Experience leading teams and providing staff training.

Responsibilities

• Provide HCM subject matter expertise across policies and processes.
• Lead training sessions and develop knowledge content for HR operations.
• Act as primary contact for Academic population HCM processes and escalations.
• Review Workday transactions and manage daily/weekly ticket queues to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with APF and UW-IT on projects and process improvements.
