Job summary

University of Washington's School of Medicine Integrated Resources, Academic HR, seeks an Academic HR Partner to support clinical departments across the faculty lifecycle. You will blend strategic HR partnership with operational leadership to deliver an exceptional faculty experience while ensuring compliance in complex academic healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• Interpret and apply complex policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-management skills.
• Experience managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary academic HR partner for assigned clinical departments.
• Advise on faculty appointments, reappointments, promotions, compensation, onboarding, and annual reviews.
• Coordinate credentialing, visa sponsorship, and multi-site practice readiness across affiliates.
• Develop scalable Workday-based processes and standard operating procedures.
