Job summary

AllianceHCM is seeking a Payroll Implementation Specialist in the United States to lead onboarding and implementation from discovery to go-live. You will coordinate schedules, data migrations, and client communications while ensuring data accuracy and timely go-live.

The role requires hands-on experience with payroll processing and data conversion, strong Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple client projects with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HCM/HRIS implementation or payroll onboarding.
• Hands-on payroll processing or data conversion experience.
• Experience coordinating projects and validating data accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead client implementations from discovery through go-live.
• Coordinate project schedules, milestones, documentation, and client communications.
• Import, balance, and reconcile employee data, historical wages, payroll taxes, and banking information.
• Configure and validate payroll frequencies, earning codes, deductions, garnishments, benefits, PTO, and timekeeping.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and resolve payroll discrepancies before the first live payroll.
• Partner with Sales, Application Support, Product Development, Payroll Operations, and Client Services to resolve implementation issues.
• Train clients on system functionality and ensure a smooth handoff to ongoing support.
• Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, data accuracy, and client onboarding efficiency.
