Job summary

Mercantile Bank seeks an HCM Operations Specialist to ensure accurate payroll operations, system administration across CRM, iSolved, and related platforms, and data integrity through reporting support. You will coordinate payroll funding workflows and contribute to Power BI reporting while maintaining thorough documentation.

The role is based on-site in Wyoming, MI with the opportunity to work from home up to two days per week after training, Monday–Friday daytime hours, and a focus on

Qualifications

• 1-12 months of related payroll experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and client service skills.
• High attention to detail; ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Experience reviewing payroll totals, balances, rates, and related calculations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate system administration across CRM, iSolved, and related platforms.
• Monitor integrations and releases, resolve operational issues with documentation.
• Support payroll funding workflows (wires, ACH, reversals, 401(k) web uploads), contribute to reporting and data integrity efforts.
• Provide backup coverage for essential payroll and tax activities.
