Job summary

San Andreas Regional Center (SARC) is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support the Quality Assurance department with on-site visits and HCBS Final Rule compliance.

The role requires coordinating with DDS, producing reports, corrective actions and self-assessments, and providing technical assistance to service providers through 2–4 visits per week. Collaboration with multiple departments is essential. This is a mission-driven nonprofit focused on equity, advocacy and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus two years’ experience in project management, QA, social work or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to write clearly and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of analytical techniques and report preparation.

Responsibilities

• Visit service provider programs and complete Unannounced Visits and Facility Monitoring reports.
• Produce Facility Monitoring reports, Unannounced Visit reports, Quality Assurance Reviews, Corrective Action Plans, Immediate Danger Reports, Sanctions, and correspondence.
• Coordinate with DDS and lead reviews; report concerns to Directors.
• Act as the subject matter expert for Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Final Rule and facilitate self-assessments.
• Conduct on-site assessments (2–4 visits per week) providing technical assistance for HCBS Final Rule compliance.
• Gather data for CAP monthly report; maintain a tickler system for follow-up and closure of CAPs.
• Coordinate visits relating to Quality Assurance and facility monitoring.
• Provide excellent customer service to departments, vendors, and staff.
• Attend relevant meetings and support special projects.
