Job summary

Micron Technology Inc. in Richardson, TX, is seeking an experienced HBM Datapath Architect to architect, design, and optimize high-speed datapaths for next-generation HBM products.

You will work across design, PHY, ECC, verification, and layout to deliver robust datapath solutions, with emphasis on bandwidth, power efficiency, and reliability.

The role requires a BS/MS in EE or CE with 7+ years (5+ for MS) and hands-on RTL, Schematic, and timing expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with required years; 7+ years for bachelor or 5+ for master.
• 3+ years of high-speed digital datapath design experience.
• 3+ years of schematic, RTL, or mixed-signal datapath implementations.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design HBM read/write datapath across core and logic die.
• Develop high-speed datapath circuits for multi-channel HBM architectures.
• Optimize bandwidth, power, area, and timing at advanced nodes.
• Integrate data reliability features: parity, ECC hooks, remapping.
• Collaborate with PHY, ECC, verification, layout, and system teams.
• Lead RTL-level datapath implementations and design reviews.
