Republic Services in Massachusetts is hiring a HazMat Field Driver/Technician to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste using Class A tractors and a range of trailers. The role includes occasional overnight shifts while maintaining DOT compliance and safety first.

The driver will perform pickups, manage logs and manifests, and may operate as a lab pack/field service technician. A CDL with HazMat/Tanker endorsements and a 40-hour HAZWOPER training are required, with training completion

Formación

• Valid Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Must pass 40-hour HAZWOPER training upon hire
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical loading/unloading
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate trucks including roll-offs, tankers, and various trailers.
• Perform LTL pickups and bulk/containerized waste handling.
• Maintain logs, permits, trip reports, and waste manifests per DOT requirements.
• Comply with DOT hazmat regulations including placarding, loading securement, and segregation.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; ensure safety and compliance.
• Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction and maintain clean facilities.
• Support lab pack and field service work as needed.
• Participate in Site Safety program and training.
