Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a HazMat Field Driver/Technician to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste using various trucks. The role requires adherence to DOT regulations, completion of required safety training, and coordination with customers on-site.

Work typically Monday–Friday with potential overnight shifts depending on routes and customer needs. The position emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and proper handling of hazardous materials, with opportunities to participate in

Qualifications

• A valid Class B CDL with hazardous materials and tanker endorsements or ability to obtain within 90 days from hire.
• Pass 40-hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks including roll-offs, tankers, tractor-trailers, and box trucks.
• Perform LTL pickups and manage DOT regulations related to hazardous waste transport.
• Maintain logs, trip reports, manifests, and other required documents.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and safety compliance.
• Participate in site safety programs and follow lab pack and field service protocols.
