Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent highly preferred.
• Current CDL, required; Class A preferred.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER required.
• 2–5 years of heavy equipment driving experience.
• 1–5 years of hazardous waste control and environmental services industry experience preferred.
• All applicants must pass pre-employment: drug/alcohol screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Health and safety is the top priority and followed at all times.
• Drive and operate multiple heavy equipment types.
• Make deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
• Prepare Haz-Mat and Non-Haz manifests.
• Maintain DOT/FMCSA compliance, logs, and vehicle inspections.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of vehicles.
• Handle housekeeping and custodial tasks as needed.
• Answer 24/7 Emergency Response calls when on standby.
• Work long hours, including nights, weekends as required.
• Adhere to Random Drug Testing program.
