Job summary

Moran Environmental Recovery, LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator/ CDL Driver to support MER's four core service lines: Emergency Response, Industrial and Marine Services, Facility Decontamination, and Site Remediation. The role requires strict adherence to safety policies and regulations as well as project-specific procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent reading, writing and reasoning skills) and 2-3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• A valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements is REQUIRED.
• TWIC preferred.
• OSHA 40-HR HAZWOPER and Confined Space Entry certifications are required to complete within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Execute field work on remediation and industrial maintenance projects under supervision.
• Possibly perform Field Technician duties depending on business needs.
• Complete all MER paperwork: Timesheets, Daily Work Reports, Driver's Logs, pre/post vehicle inspections, and safety forms.
• Understand and enforce project scope-of-work, schedules, and company policies.
• Work safely in varied environments and weather, with physical activity including lifting up to 50+ pounds.
• Operate equipment safely ( Excavator, Loader, Dozer, Skid Steer ) after proper training and licensing.
• Travel out of town for up to two weeks as required.
