Job summary

TAS Environmental Services, LP is seeking a Driver Operator to safely operate heavy trucks and specialized equipment, manage cargo, paperwork, and inspections. The role demands physical labor and adherence to DOT regulations, with a focus on reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to read, write and do mathematics.
• Physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, following traffic laws and hours-of-service rules.
• Load and unload cargo, securing cargo and managing related paperwork.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers and maintain trip logs.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials per guidelines and safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
