Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator/Driver in California. You will drive and operate heavy trucks, assist in hazardous waste handling, and support emergency response tasks in a safety‑mocused environment.

Required are a valid CDL (Class A preferred), Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and 2–5 years of heavy equipment experience. Candidates must pass pre-employment screenings and DOT compliance checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current CDL required with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements.
• Driving record meeting company standards and DMV verification.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate heavy equipment including 50/70 Barrel Vacuum and Single Roll-Off Trucks.
• Make deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
• Prepare Haz-Mat and Non-Haz manifests and maintain DOT/compliance records.
• Perform vehicle maintenance and cleaning; comply with DOT pre-employment checks.
• Answer 24/7 Emergency Response calls and work overtime as needed.
