Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services in the Western United States is hiring a field technician responsible for operating heavy equipment, delivering materials, and supporting emergency response and remediation tasks.

The role requires a CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, 2–5 years driving experience, and completion of 40-hour HAZWOPER. You will comply with DOT/FMCSA, maintain logs, and participate in 24/7 on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• HAZWOPER training (40 hours) completed.
• 2–5 years heavy equipment driving experience.
• 1–5 years hazardous waste control experience preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including 50/70 Barrel Vacuum and roll-off trucks.
• Make deliveries safely and on time.
• Prepare Haz-Mat & Non-Haz manifests.
• Maintain DOT, FMCSA logs, timesheets, and vehicle inspections.
• Perform basic maintenance on response vehicle and equipment.
• Answer 24/7 Emergency Response calls and respond as needed.
• Work long hours including nights and weekends.
• Comply with Random Drug Testing program.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
