FedEx Freight is seeking a skilled service driver to pick up and deliver trailers between FedEx Service Centers and turn-points using tractor-trailers. Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, securing loads, documentation, logs, and compliance with DOT regulations.

Overnight travel and varying shifts may be required. The role requires a valid CDL A with hazmat/tank endorsements, clean MVR, and the ability to operate long combination vehicles in listed states.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with hazardous materials and tank endorsements required.
• MVR must meet company standards.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Experience or training with long combination vehicles (LCV).
• Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/triples where applicable.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Complete required documentation and logs.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and compliance with DOT rules.
• Communicate with dispatch and report delays or issues.
• Load and unload freight as required.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
