Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a skilled supervisor to lead field teams delivering hazardous and non-hazardous waste services in a compliant, safe manner. You will coordinate subcontractors, train staff, and assist with estimates and contracts to ensure client satisfaction.

The role requires a BS in Chemistry or related science, 5–7 years hazardous waste experience, and 1–2 years supervisory experience preferred, with OSHA refresher training and CDL considered a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or BA in a related science, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years hazardous waste experience.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages team(s) including hiring, evaluating, and disciplinary actions.
• Complies with all applicable governmental regulations, and VES-TS policies and procedures.
• Recognize and act on opportunities to increase value added services that benefit customers.
• Maintain a professional image to clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions to existing and/or potential problems.
• Comply with and enforce all compliance, health and safety, and procedures in accordance with departmental procedures.
• Ensure completion and accuracy of all DOT/EPA and VES-TS regulations required in submitting paperwork.
• Ensure completion of all mandatory training courses as required by OSHA as well as updated refresher courses instituted by the company.
• Oversees the operation and maintenance of all equipment to ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness.
