Job summary

Veolia is hiring for a Service Manager to oversee safety, compliance with permits, and financial results at the facility. You will coordinate with sales, customer service, accounting and health and safety teams to ensure regulatory compliance and safety across operations.

You will lead staff, improve EPA/RCRA compliance, and drive profitability while maintaining a safe work environment and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• DEA background check required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• PPE: eye protection, foot protection, hard hat, Tyvek coveralls, respirator.
• Minimum 5 years in hazardous waste industry.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assigns work to production crews and supervises their activities.
• Audits crews’ performance for quality, safety and resource utilization.
• Improve health, safety and environmental performance.
• Manage staff with HR on onboarding and development.
• Monitor production schedules and coordinate across shifts.
• Ensure compliance with permits, regulations and company policies.
• Develop waste profile sheets and coordinate shipments.
• Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned.
