Job summary

Veolia is seeking a hazardous waste laborer in the United States to perform routine waste handling tasks in processing areas, including loading/unloading containers and maintaining safety practices.

Responsibilities include following procedures, operating equipment, and assisting with paperwork, with a focus on efficiency and compliance. This position may require forklift experience and adherence to PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 9 to 12 months general labor experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures & direction.
• Operate mobile equipment and fixed equipment.
• Load and unload containers of various sizes.
• Prepare processing paperwork and labels.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist in loading/unloading hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
