Job summary

Veolia in North America is hiring for a hazardous waste handling role in a US facility. The position involves manual labor, loading/unloading containers, and assisting with material transport and paperwork under supervision.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and 3–6 months’ prior experience in hazardous waste or chemical handling, with forklift proficiency preferred. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months experience in hazardous waste or chemical industry preferred.
• Forklift proficiency and familiarity with tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload containers of various sizes.
• Pack, label and load boxes and containers.
• Move hazardous waste within the facility as directed.
• Decontaminate and dispose of empty drums per guidelines.
• Assist with paperwork for material transport.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
