Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a general laborer to perform routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste tasks, moving solids and liquids under supervision and assisting in cleaning, decontamination, and loading containers for processing at site or transportation to facilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–6 months in hazardous waste or chemical industry helpful; forklift proficiency valued.
• Proficient in reading and writing; able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload various size containers (totes, drums, tankers, trailers, etc.).
• Construct boxes/containers and label/load; operate tools as needed.
• Transport hazardous waste within the facility and to appropriate facilities.
