Job summary

Environmental Restoration LLC, based in LaSalle, IL, is seeking an Field Service Technician to support hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and equipment decontamination at our LaSalle operations. The role requires handling hazardous materials and operating related equipment in various conditions.

The position emphasizes health and safety, with training, potential OSHA 40-hour certification, and opportunities for advancement in a 100% employee-owned organization.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and physical exam.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States (E-Verify).
• Willingness to obtain OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (Reimbursement program available).
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection.
• Lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Excellent driving history (mandatory).
• Ability to interpret and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures health and safety is the number one goal by following PROS — Pause, Review, Observe, Start.
• Performs non-emergency and emergency response activities with hazardous materials.
• Performs labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift.
• Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights.
• Works with and around light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, pressure washer.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Warehouse maintenance, stock supplies, building maintenance.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Maintain an excellent driving history (mandatory).
