Job summary

Clean Harbors in Hampden ME is seeking a Field Services Technician (Laborer) to join our safety-conscious team. This role is active in the field, performing hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

Responsibilities include following health and safety policies, operating equipment, wearing PPE, working in varied conditions, and supporting field sampling and waste handling.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to be on-call for emergencies.
• Background check, drug test, and physical may be required.
• OSHA respirator standards compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and acting safely.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use various hand tools and powered tools.
• Wear and use PPE properly, including respirators and protective gear.
