Job summary

Environmental Restoration LLC, based in LaSalle, IL, is seeking an Field Service Technician to support hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and equipment decontamination at our LaSalle operations. Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and physical exam.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States (E-Verify).
• Willingness to obtain OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (Reimbursement program available).
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection.
• Lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Excellent driving history (mandatory).
• Ability to interpret and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures health and safety is the number one goal by following PROS — Pause, Review, Observe, Start.
• Performs non-emergency and emergency response activities with hazardous materials.
• Performs labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift.
• Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights.
• Works with and around light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, pressure washer.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Warehouse maintenance, stock supplies, building maintenance.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Maintain an excellent driving history (mandatory).

We are currently seeking an Environmental Technician to be based out of LaSalle, Illinois to help withhazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials. .

Key Responsibilities

Environmental experience, hazardous waste experience and certification (i.e., OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER), CDL, heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience is a plus.
