Job summary

Clean Harbors in Millsap, TX is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety-conscious team. This role involves field tasks related to hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

The position requires attending a paid one-week Academy training (out of state possible) and offers a path to growth within a nationwide environmental services leader.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: Reliable transportation, physical function capability, willingness to be on-call for emergency response, ability to work long shifts including weekends/holidays, successful background check and medical/physical as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety as the top priority by following policies and procedures.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor and operate light to heavy equipment.
• Wear PPE and work in various weather conditions and hazardous environments.
• Assist in field sampling activities and calibration of meters.
• On-call for emergency response on rotating basis and participate in site remediation tasks.
