Job summary

Nutrien is seeking an experienced Associate to join our SDS authoring and hazard classification team. You will develop and maintain SDS documents, assess chemical hazards, and ensure regulatory compliance across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Agriculture or related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in product hazard classifications and SDS authoring.
• Ability to interpret technical data and apply weight-of-evidence decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assess chemical hazard classifications per GHS and country requirements.
• Author and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for Nutrien products.
• Ensure regulatory designations and warnings are accurate on SDS documents.
• Interpret lab reports to inform hazard designations and actions.
• Develop and maintain weight-of-evidence files for classifications.
• Monitor NA regulatory changes affecting Nutrien SDSs.
• Maintain supporting files and documentation for accessibility.
