Qualifications

• Five+ years of estimating experience in marine or heavy civil construction.
• Experience estimating self-performing marine/heavy civil projects.
• Knowledge of project estimating, procurement, scheduling, and cost control.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, contracts and geotechnical data.
• Strong understanding of means, methods, productivity, and cost drivers.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist bid development and proposal submissions for marine and heavy civil projects.
• Review plans and bid documents to understand scope.
• Conduct site visits with project team.
• Prepare bid item listings for review.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations.
• Support final bid reviews and risk discussions.
• Hand off successful estimates to project teams after award.
