Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Hatchery Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a hatchery, monitor incubation and environmental controls, and ensure timely movement of chicks to farms according to schedules.

The role includes supervising personnel, maintaining logs, and coordinating with drivers. Requires education beyond high school and 2 years in poultry operations; travel is limited.

Qualifications

• Education beyond high school or equivalent training.
• 2 years poultry experience, live receiving or hatchery preferred.
• Basic computer skills; read and generate spreadsheets and review reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a hatchery operations group on a daily basis.
• Monitor incubation and hatchery equipment and environmental controls.
• Oversee chick delivery and pickup; ensure movement of chicks to farms per schedule.
• Keep logs on trucks: miles and hours for drivers; review reports.
• Grade egg fleets from hen farms and prepare vaccines as needed; other duties as assigned.
