Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years poultry experience with live receiving or hatchery preferred.
• Ability to read and generate spreadsheets and review reports.
• Must be able to supervise a team in a hatchery setting.
• Willingness to travel 1-2 times per year.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of personnel in a hatchery department.
• Monitor incubation, hatchery and environmental control equipment.
• Complete chick delivery sheets, mortality charts and logs.
• Ensure movement of chicks to farms per shipment schedule.
• Oversee chick deliver and pick-up; vaccine preparation as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
