Job summary

Hoover's Hatchery in Quakertown, PA is seeking a Hatchery Supervisor to lead daily hatchery production, egg handling, incubation, and order fulfillment under the Hatchery Manager.

You will supervise Production and Order Fulfillment staff, ensure sanitation and biosecurity, and maintain safety and quality. Requires 2+ years poultry operations and supervisory experience; MS Office skills; English fluency; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Two+ years of hatchery, poultry production, or agricultural operations experience preferred.
• One+ years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Production and Order Fulfillment staff on assigned shifts.
• Monitor egg room activities, incubation, transfer, and hatching processes.
• Oversee machine readings and report irregularities promptly.
• Ensure proper incubator assignments, hatcher placements, and vaccine schedules.
• Support chick processing and fulfillment activities.
• Coordinate production flow to meet daily/weekly orders.
• Enforce sanitation, biosecurity, and NPIP guidelines.
