Southmill Champs in Kennett Square, PA, is seeking a Full Time SM Product Handler responsible for inputting container counts, ensuring harvesting workmanship, and proper separation of containers for accurate order fulfillment. The role requires attention to detail, strict adherence to safety and food safety standards, and proactive communication with Harvesting Management.

• Accurate container counting and data entry in I-Harvest tablets.
• Ensure proper harvesting workmanship and correct in-weights.
• Maintain orderly separation of containers by grade and size.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate with Harvesting Management with requests for days off.
• Get an actual count of the containers and enter the information accurately in the I-Harvest tablets.
• Prior to taking a lunch, ensure all containers are out of the house.
• Review all the containers for workmanship and in-weights; extraneous material, sizing, miscuts, etc.
• Check houses prior to moving to the next house to ensure proper harvesting procedures have been followed.
• Understand and enforce company safety and food safety standards.
• Arrive at least 15 minutes before harvester start time to get mushroom orders and prepare harvesting area.
• Mushroom containers are separated and stacked according to grade and size.
• Report any social or physical issues with the team to Harvesting Management immediately.
• Make sure picking tickets are put into each container except for the opens.
• Ensure all orders are complete.
