Job summary

Maple Donuts, LLC is seeking a dependable Material Handler/Delivery Driver in York, PA to support the Warehouse team. You will move finished products, stage ingredients, verify pallets, and operate a box truck in daily delivery routes while adhering to safety rules.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with a DOT Medical Card, forklift experience, and basic computer skills; forklift tests are required and ongoing licensure must be maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and DOT Medical Card, and be comfortable operating a box truck.
• Must pass forklift test and maintain licensure as required.
• Reading and writing simple instructions; ability to present information in one-on-one or small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Move skids of finished product to freezer put-away station.
• Keep accurate production and material handler records; verify pallet labeling.
• Ensure stackers have a consistent supply of good pallets.
• Set up next shift with pallets, ingredients, and packaging materials.
• Gather and stage ingredients for easy access during the shift.
• Communicate tasks away from packing area.
• Match case counts with stacker reports; verify accuracy.
• Tag and store ON HOLD product properly.
• Return ingredients and materials to proper storage.
• Complete beginning-of-shift assessments.
• Charge powered pallet jacks when not in use.
• Identify torn ingredient bags.
• Follow safety rules and CGMPs; notify supervision of concerns.
• Clean assigned areas and pallet jacks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Employee is required to take an initial forklift test and will be observed at least every three years to maintain license. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, obtain and maintain a current DOT Medical Card, and be comfortable operating a box truck.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

The Employee must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. The Employee must have the ability to write simple correspondence. The Employee must have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

The Employee must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level is usually moderate to loud and hearing protection is mandatory. Employee may be exposed to temperatures down to -20°F.

• Clean assigned areas and pallet jacks.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/manager.
