Rural King in Warsaw, IN is seeking a Department Lead to oversee a department, ensure accurate inventory, and maintain engaging displays for our rural communities. You will lead staff, train teams, and uphold our standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualificações

• At least 2 years of retail experience in a department role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to actively listen and respond clearly and concisely.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and business needs.

• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to the indoor merchandising guide to maintain department standards and displays.
• Monitor inventory levels with regular stock counts; scan outs and reconcile discrepancies; replenish stock.
• Oversee the recovery process to keep the department neat and visually appealing.
• Coordinate and execute price changes; update pricing labels and signage as needed.
• Manage playbook features and planogram sets per company guidelines to maximize sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness; enforce sanitation and safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service using the engagement model; assist with inquiries and product location.
• Support at the front end by processing transactions or loadouts as required.
• Operate office equipment (phone, copier, fax, calculator, computer).
• Operate handheld devices, forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders and other retail equipment.
• Participate in cross-training for flexibility across departments.
• Engage in training programs, workshops, and webinars for continuous improvement.
• Provide friendly, proactive internal and external support to colleagues and customers.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
