Job summary

Volt in Knoxville, TN 37932 is seeking a Hardware Test Technician / Electronics Testing & Manufacturing Technician to join our team. Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; This is a Full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities include setting up, calibrating, and upgrading hardware, performing product tests, and documenting results per procedures. You will troubleshoot basic hardware and assist with production tasks as volume varies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related field; OR equivalent hands-on experience
• Knowledge of oscilloscopes, voltmeters, signal generators, and related test equipment
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, calibrate, and upgrade hardware products following engineering procedures and work instructions


• Perform product testing using engineering test procedures, schematics, and quality standards


• Record and document test results accurately to meet quality requirements


• Troubleshoot basic hardware and system issues


• Operate and utilize test equipment including oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and signal generators


• Assist with assembly, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving activities during periods of lower testing volume


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment


• Support production, engineering, and operational teams to achieve departmental goals


• Perform additional duties as assigned

Schedule

Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

This is a Full-time opportunity.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field; OR equivalent hands-on experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production, electronics assembly, or hardware testing environments

• Experience reading engineering documentation, schematics, or test procedures

Pay Rate: $27.00 - $29.44 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
