Job summary

Volt is seeking an Electrical Technician to install, repair, and maintain electrical components on industrial equipment. You’ll work alone or with a team, follow strict safety procedures, and interpret schematics and technical docs to execute tasks precisely.

You will also perform quality checks, manage torque sheets and tool inventories, and drive a Safety First culture through leadership and audits. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $24.50 per hour, with eligible benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school certification preferred.
• Apprenticeship certificate or journeyman experience preferred.

Job description

As an Electrical Technician, you will:

• Installs, repairs, and maintains the electrical parts of industrial equipment.
• Works individually or as part of a team to successfully complete projects.
• Follows safety procedures and adheres to electrical codes.
• Correctly interprets technical documents for proper execution of assignments.
• Conducts quality assurance measures and inspections.
• Ensure that all administrative processes, including torque sheets, 5S (Five S), and tool inventory/tracking.
• Promote a "Safety first" culture within the team by leading through example, implementing all safety policies and procedures, and conducting necessary safety audits.

This is a Full-time/ Contract opportunity.

Schedule: Monday -Thursday, 6pm - 4:00am - Must train on 1st shift for the first 4 weeks.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Associate degree/trade school certification in a related field.
• Certificate of completion in an apprenticeship program, or journeyman experience
• Factory setting with adherence to safety protocols.
• Knowledgeable in pertinent electrical codes and regulations.
• Industrial electrical experience preferred, commercial electrical experience
• Understand schematics and other technical documents

Pay Rate: $21.00 to $24.50 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
