Job summary

Raytheon in Andover, MA is seeking an entry level Hardware Test Engineer to support mechanical analysis and testing across development and production programs.

You will perform instrumentation planning, data acquisition, fixture design coordination, and test reporting while traveling to test sites as needed. A BS in Mechanical Engineering and experience with CREO and Matlab are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with solid modeling CAD tool such as CREO.
• Experience with Matlab.

Responsibilities

• Perform instrumentation planning and test conduct of all Hardware Tests including vibration and thermal testing.
• Dynamic and thermal data acquisition and analysis.
• Provide test fixture design coordination.
• Work independently and take ownership of program/project to achieve schedule, financial, and technical goals.
• Prepare test plans, schedules, test reports, and technical documentation of project work assigned.
• Travel to test sites to support test or design discussion.
