Job summary

Raytheon in Andover, MA seeks a software-focused engineer to join the Test Solutions Engineering team within the Hardware Discipline Center. You will develop software that interfaces with state-of-the-art engineering hardware, supporting products from lab demonstrations to high-rate production testing and sustainment.

As part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, you will design robust tools and participate in design reviews, applying both Agile and Waterfall lifecycles to ensure test

Qualifications

Advanced STEM degree required by start date.
Experience with software development in one or more languages including C, C++, C#, Python or VB.
Experience building Windows applications using Visual Studio IDE.

Responsibilities

Design, code, and integrate object-oriented software and test software for Windows.
Develop system-level software requirements and architecture.
Troubleshoot and optimize applications for test accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with systems, electrical, and mechanical engineers to integrate tools with hardware.
Participate in design reviews, code peer reviews, and defect resolution.
Apply Agile and Waterfall lifecycles in development processes.
