Job summary

Raytheon’s Test Solutions Center in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Test Equipment Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and maintain advanced mechanical test environments for Raytheon products. This onsite role in Tewksbury/Andover requires hands-on work across packaging, fixtures, automation, RF, thermal, and vibration domains.

The candidate should have 5+ years in mechanical engineering, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or STEM, and CREO Parametric experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, or STEM.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
Experience with CAD solid modeling tools and analysis tools with an emphasis on ProE / CREO Parametric.
Experience in mechanical engineering production support.

Responsibilities

Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems in areas to include: electronic packaging, mechanical fixtures, automation, radio frequency, thermal, hydraulic, vibration, and electro-optical for production testing environments.
Integrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirements.
Evaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.
Support onsite manufacturing builds.
Troubleshoot mechanical fixtures and provide root cause corrective action analysis.
Management and release of technical data packages.
