Job summary

Amazon Logistics is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer to lead the lifecycle of new mechatronic technologies for AMZL Delivery Stations. You will work with Robotics, SW Tech, Process Engineering, Operations, and Facilities teams to push automation and robotics innovations.

The role requires hands-on prototyping, field validation, and building business cases for pilots, with a focus on scalable, customer-focused solutions and measurable impact on the last mile.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with prototyping and implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end equipment technology development from ideation to on-site implementation.
• Write requirements, specifications, verification plans, and test procedures.
• Collect field feedback to propose new solutions and enhancements.
• Influence technical and business decisions using data from tests and validation.
• Define and track project timelines and budgets.
