Job summary

Eight Sleep in San Francisco is seeking a passionate Hardware Engineering Program Manager to lead the development of new and innovative sleep products. This role is based in our SF office five days a week and requires coordinating across engineering disciplines to balance schedule, risk, and design excellence.

You'll drive programs from concept to mass production, align with senior leadership on objectives, and champion best practices that scale product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Engineering is required.
• Masters of Engineering is preferred.
• At least 3 years in a program management role.
• Proven track record of launching successful hardware products.
• Strong cross-disciplinary communication.
• Willingness to travel to China.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of hardware product development programs from concept to mass production.
• Align with senior leadership to establish program objectives and design execution strategies.
• Navigate the project team to ensure the right people are working on the right things at the right time.
• Communicate across engineering disciplines and the business to ensure alignment on risks, challenges and results.
• Champion best practices and processes that scale product development.
• Champion for releasing the best possible product for the customer experience.
