Job summary

Eight Sleep, Inc. is seeking an electrical engineer to bring new products to market from our San Francisco office. You’ll be part of a small, mission-driven team with significant ownership over decisions, from Arduino prototypes to PCBAs for mass production in Asia.

Qualifications

• Mixed analog and digital design experience.
• Experience with ECAD packages such as Altium/OrCAD.
• Knowledge of SMT and flex PCB manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of DOE and statistical analysis for quality control.
• Willingness to travel to Asia as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design consumer electronic devices with MCUs, SoCs, wireless drivers, sensors, and LED drivers.
• Prototype concepts to assess feasibility and guide development.
• Support schematic capture, layout, bring-up, and production test.
• Collaborate with mechanical, embedded software, industrial design, manufacturing, and product teams.
• Define testing requirements and fixtures for mass production qualification.
