Eight Sleep is looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to develop innovative products from concept to production. This role will provide significant ownership and the chance to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to optimal sleep technology.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consumer product design experience with knowledge of injection molding.
• Experience shipping high-volume consumer products, including manufacturing support in Asia.
• Solid understanding of root cause analysis, DOEs, and quality measuring techniques.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design complex electromechanical systems.
• Drive designs across the entire development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, reliability, and manufacturing engineers.

Skills

Consumer product design experience

Knowledge of injection molding

3D modeling proficiency (Solidworks, NX, Creo)

Experience with high-volume manufacturing processes

Understanding of root cause analysis

Education

BSME or equivalent
