Job summary

Allied Resources Technical Consultants is seeking a Hardware Engineering Manager to lead development of high-speed connectivity and electronics solutions. You will guide teams from concept to production, setting performance requirements and driving validation across the full lifecycle.

The role requires a strong background in circuit design, signal integrity, and hardware validation, plus demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of hardware engineering experience.
• Strong experience with circuit design, product development, simulation, testing, and validation.
• Experience with connectivity products, cable assemblies, interconnect systems or similar hardware technologies preferred.
• Understanding of electromagnetic theory, signal behavior, and electronic system performance.
• Six Sigma or data analytics experience a plus.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams through the full product development lifecycle.
• Experience managing technical teams and developing engineering talent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Strategic mindset with ability to translate business objectives into executable plans.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and launch of high-speed hardware products from concept to production.
• Establish and manage hardware performance requirements for design, simulation, testing, and validation.
• Provide technical leadership for teams focused on connectivity, signal integrity, and hardware solutions.
• Oversee simulation activities and interpret results to guide decisions.
• Conduct design reviews and recommend actions based on data and metrics.
• Communicate strategies, status, and business impact to stakeholders and leadership.
• Drive innovation using internal expertise, new tech, and best practices.
• Lead and mentor engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Set team objectives for continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Support recruiting, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and business leadership to achieve goals.
