Our client is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to join their team in Middletown, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to work on advanced high-speed connectivity solutions, leading the design, simulation, validation, and development of next-generation electronic products from concept through manufacturing.

This role is fully onsite and relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates who are not local to the area.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as a subject matter expert in high-speed electronics design, simulation, and validation throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Define electrical design requirements and performance specifications for new products.
• Lead the development of high-speed cable assemblies from concept through production.
• Perform component selection, schematic design, PCB layout support, and product validation testing.
• Analyze simulation and test results and provide actionable design recommendations.
• Make data-driven decisions to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to bring innovative products to market.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in high-speed hardware engineering.
• Hands-on experience with electronic design, circuit simulation, and analysis tools, including Altium.
• Experience with high-speed test equipment such as:Digital Sampling Oscilloscopes
• Time Domain Reflectometers (TDR)
• Pattern Generators
• Power Supplies
• Strong background in component selection, schematic capture, PCB design, fabrication, and assembly.
• Deep understanding of:Electromagnetic theory
• Signal integrity (SI)
• Power integrity (PI)
• Electrical circuit behavior
• Experience utilizing signal integrity and power integrity simulation tools.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
