Job summary

Group1001 Insurance is seeking a hands-on technical/design manager to lead the Web/UI team, overseeing Lead, Senior, and Web/UI Developer roles. You’ll ensure design quality, performance, and brand integrity across multiple Group1001 member companies, including Gainbridge.

You will personally contribute to design work in Figma and Webflow, drive sprint delivery, and mentor designers while upholding WCAGAA accessibility and security standards.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional web design and front-end build experience.
Demonstrated experience in financial services and/or insurance marketing.
Proven ability to meet the Lead Web/UI Developer technical bar in Figma and Webflow.
Strong design-system experience and accessibility governance.

Responsibilities

Hands-on design and Webflow build on critical-path web properties; conduct design reviews.
Own portfolio applications as Product Owner for security, accessibility, and regulatory compliance.
Architectural health including DR posture, backups, patching, and runtime currency.
Mentor designers, grow senior/lead designers, and steward design systems.
Lead or actively participate in Agile sprint planning and story readiness reviews.
